SEASON SIX NATIONALS 2025
Our goal with DECAdance Nationals? To get these dancers in front of as many educators as possible!
In addition to our specialty four-judge panel, we bring in an entirely separate panel of adjudicators for the DECA DANCE-OFF, amazing guest educators for classes and workshops, and we take a unique community-minded approach to Title. This is DECADANCE NATIONALS 2025!
Did someone say... WATER PARK?!
We didn't choose just any venue for our Season Six Nationals event on July 10-14, 2025. We believe in unique experiences and one-of-a-kind events where everyone goes home fulfilled.
That's why we chose the beautiful mountainside Split Rock Resort in the Poconos (PA) to close out our 2024-25 season. Our family-focused DECAdance Nationals event includes:
Student Choreography: Select student choreographers from Season Six receive invitations to create and teach their choreography for our DECA DANCE-OFF Opening Number
Speaking of the DECA DANCE-OFF... Every single attending studio is invited to perform a group number of your choice! We give you the top three scoring groups from the main competition and YOU decide!
TWO separate judges panels: our specialty 4-judge panel for the main competition and an entirely separate set of eyes for the DANCE-OFF!
A community-minded, educational approach to Title (read more below!)
Giveaways, scholarships and special Nationals awards offered in collaboration with our industry partners. At our 2024 Nationals event, we happily gifted two pairs of custom tap shoes and two bags of dancewear essentials from
Capezio, scholarships to Relative Motion, a full sized Glam'r Gear® Solo™ Carry-On with uHide® Extendable Garment Rack, cash prizes from our partners at RP Event Group and eight monetary donations made on behalf of our Title winners who advocated for local community organizations, including their own studios.

LEARN ABOUT OUR APPROACH TO TITLE
We're really excited to announce our approach to Title for soloists at DECAdance Nationals. Dancers competing for Title will participate in classes that are carefully planned to stretch them beyond their comfort zone. Educators will observe and consider the dancers' participation in the overall score for Title. We'll host a roundtable discussion for these dancers to share how they would like to see the arts supported in their community (bringing the advocacy portion closer to home and relevant to the dancer's lived experience no matter their age). And our version of the classic "interview" will be a solo improv session in a genre of the dancer's choice (as long as it is different than their solo entry) to express themselves through the movement that comes easiest to them.
