As you'll see in our 2023 recap video above, there's just nothing like a room of young dancers eager to get creative with teachers who LOVE to work with this specific age group.

DECAdance proudly hosts a signature event each October just for minis and petites. Dancers under the age of nine have a full convention day dedicated to their age group called DECAdance MINI MAYHEM.

Halloween costumes are worn, giggles abound, and most importantly - we create a schedule that accommodates this particular age group. With shorter classes and bonus breakout sessions to break up the day, these young dancers get to learn, stretch their creative muscles and bop around to their own beat under the loving guidance of our staff. (ICYMI, most of our staff are parents to children under the ages of 5. Our staff and the faculty we hire for this particular event are all very familiar with how to best support this age group!)

We feature surprise special guests, like Heather Booysen, author of Marley Takes The Stage, pictured here giving our 2023 Mini Mayhem guests their very own book reading!

We order plenty of pizza, offer surprise bonus activities and of course - we host a huge dance party at the end of the day (seriously, does it get any better?).

Held in the Edison, NJ area every October, Mini Mayhem is one of our favorite days of the year. This year's Mini Mayhem event is set for October 27th, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn Edison. We cap this event at 50 dancers to ensure the best experience for all of our attendees.
